Why they're good:

Because they're default and default is easier; we don't have to think about other fonts and they're always on all computers. They are "CSS Web Safe Fonts" meaning all web-browsers come with that font (we don't have to download it from a server every time we load the webpage.)

I like consistency. I don't like when we do things unnecessarily (it slows down the webpage loading.) I like it when websites are fast. If they're fast then they feel snapping ( I like EVERYTHING snappy ((everything can be as fast as videogames)) )

You can use other fonts if you need it to look more pretty, however these fonts are pretty enough for me.
